What Fears Truth?...

Mr.Atos

The narrator offers this for consideration...
The media only reports the bad news, but American troops are making real progress, securing free elections and defending our country from radical al Qaeda terrorists who want to destroy Americans, starting in Iraq.

Saddam Hussein is one of history's biggest mass murderers. The blood of a million people is on his hands, with countless more raped and tortured.

You'd never know it from the news reports, but our enemy in Iraq is al Qaeda--the same terrorists who killed three thousand Americans on 9/11, the same terrorists from the first World Trade Center bombing, the USS Cole, Madrid, London, and many more. American troops overwhelmingly support the mission President Bush has given us. Where do you want to fight terrorists? We want to fight them, and destroy them, in Iraq.

Powerline reports that the television add currently being run by KARE 11 and WCCO, is sponsored by "Midwest Heroes" as an objective defense of the War in Iraq. And the Left wants them stopped! Silenced! ...Immediately!

Local columnists are slamming the adds. And Democrat organizations have launched a campaign to have them pulled (read: censored)

If you feel that this ad is doing a disservice to our troops and is misleading at best, and pure propaganda at worst, please call:

KARE 11 at 763 546 1111

WCCO at 612 370 0611

to ask for the removal of the ads. Letters to the Editor in your local paper would behelpful to point out the untruths being communicated to citizens as fact. Thanks in advance for being a voice of truth, and for all that you do to improve the state of our nation and state.DFL Chair Brian Melendez will be holding a press conference at the State Capitol today at 2:30 to ask that this ad be pulled from the air waves. He willbe joined by congressional candidate and veteran Tim Walz. Please tune in to your evening news to see coverage of this important event.

Sincerely,

DonnaDonna Cassutt,
Associate Chair,
Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party

The gentleman at Powerline are on this story here, here, here, here, and here.

That which fears discourse, fears truth. That which fears truth, must see it as a threat. And the only thing threatened by truth, is the tale built on the foundations of a lie.

Just what is it that Democrats in Minnesota and across the country actually fear?

My Sandman says, "That which fears discourse, fears truth. That which fears truth, must see it as a threat. And the only thing threatened by truth, is the tale built on the foundations of a lie.

My Sandman asks, "Just what is it that Democrats in Minnesota and across the country actually fear?"

They fear that after all the months of endeavoring to castigate President Bush for having gone into Iraq, that people will actually come to see that there is a connection between all these events in which America was attacked, from the African Embassy bombings, the Kobar Towers, the two WTC attacks, the Cole etc, etc. etc. The common denominator is al Qaeda. You ask what they might fear from the truth. The Bible says the truth will set you free. The DNC would certainly not wish the American public to be free of the misrepresentations that the DNC has been foisting upon them for so long. Only lies fear the truth and require censorship.

Thank you, My Sandman, for your insightful blog.

I think it is important for the extension of the discourse inthis country for one party to walk around withtheir fingers in their ears chanitng..."I can't hear you. Blah blah blah. I can't hear you." Really builds confidence in their ability to lead.

There are mutliple facets to each story. Each piece...positive and negative....needs to find its way to daylight, only then can well-informed people form intelligent positions on the relevant issues of the day. running around with your fingers in your ears brings nothing to the table and shows your idiocy. Frankly, I am not shocked by any of it. Sad. MM
