Whirling Durbin...

Mr.Atos

Despite his so-called apologies, Senator Richard Durbin continues digging his hole deeper. I was just listening to a recap of Durbin's interview with Don & Roma on
WLS this morning (HT. Rush). Durbin attempted, as before, to dismiss his obscenities against U.S. Servicemen when he made this previous outlandish accusation against them, on Tuesday June 14th. But, today he outright lied when he said that his statements were picked up by Al Jazeera 5 days after it had become a public issue stirred up by Conservatives like Rush Limbaugh. As one can see here (HT. Hugh),

Thursday 16 June 2005, 21:38 Makka Time, 18:38 GMT

During a speech on Tuesday, Durbin, the Senate's number two Democrat, quoted from an FBI agent's report describing detainees at the naval base in Cuba as being chained to the floor without food or water in extreme temperatures.

"If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime - Pol Pot or others - that had no concern for human beings."

Durbin is not alone in his criticism.

Human-rights groups have long accused the administration of unjustlydetaining suspects at the prison camp. Amnesty International last month called the detention centre the "gulag of our times".

...Durbin's comments were firing Al Jazeera stories less than 48 hours after the Democrat leader bloviated his anti-America rhetoric officially on the floor of the Senate. I dare say, most Soldiers deployed along the frontiers of chaos heard about the Democrat Senator's statements from the enemy's propaganda rag before they heard it from America's Old Busted Media.

Adding further insult to insult.. to insult... to injury... Durbin lied, today!

That angry, petty, ered, dishonest little man has no further business representing the citizens of this nation. And let us do be very clear. As a member of an elite governing body, like the U.S. Senate, Richard Durbin does not simply represent the people of Illinois, but this nation as a whole. This Oregonian demands that he resign!
