The Pot Calling The Kettle "A Hack..."

Mr.Atos

The
Pittsburg Post-Gazette conveys the sentiments of Senator Harry Reid regarding longtime Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan as being, "one of the biggest political hacks we have here in Washington."
WASHINGTON -- Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan generally gets accolades for his public pronouncements. Yesterday he got a brickbat from Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., who blasted Greenspan as "one of the biggest political hacks we have here in Washington."

Reid ripped Greenspan during an interview on CNN's "Inside Politics," arguing that the Fed chairman has given President Bush a pass for deficits that have built up in the past four years and should be challenging Republicans for their fiscal policies rather than promoting Bush's plan to introduce personal accounts into Social Security.
Alan Greenspan has held the position of Fed Chairman for nearly 20 years, serving 3 Presidents in that capacity. He has been true to the principles of Capitalism throughout his career stretching back to the 50' and 60's and his close association with Ayn Rand and the Objectivist movement. Like it or not (and I happen to appreciate it profoundly), Capitalism is the only economic system compatible with human freedom. If anything, the Man's conviction to that economic principle has loosened in the decades since, bringing them ever so slightly closer to the Neo-Socialist sensibilities of Senator Reid. Nevertheless, Reid chooses to ignore the profound contributions of Greenspan to the Nation's prosperity, and impugns the Man's character simply because Greenspan is confirming the President's concerns regarding Social Security system and its impending collapse. Harry Reid is a politician in the guise of a Statesman whose concern for the Nation and it's People and their Economic progress is wholely subordinate to the agenda of special interests and his global Leftists allies.

Which one of these men, I ask you is the true "Hack?"
