The results would seem to be in. The ass end of the Ass prevails in Connecticut. So ask yourselves, Democrats,

I can just feel the lunch bet I made slop down my gullet...
Oh, the libs...
Oh, the humanity...
I bet a Lib that the Republicans would hold or gain seats in both houses of Congress. The libs are going to be sending their campaign cash to the Lamont campaign - to the detriment of others. The rich ones are propping up Err America. Like Lefty’s the world over they do not know how to make use of resources – financial, material, pr, or connection. The joy of Lieberman winning as an Independent – and losing Party loyalty. And, do you think this will be an easy divorce!!!
Crash, bang, get the extras, doctor that photo quick – that is not what we want the public to see.
America will not stomach the bile. It will surely come back to haunt the Democrats in November, Boghie. Of that I am confident. Its good for us, bad for the political health of the nation as a whole. But, there is ultimately enough disagreement among the ratioanl party to ensure a healthy degree of loyal opposition for two parties. The Democrats have ensured themselves irrelevence. They are the Macbeth party..
... that struts and frets [its] hour upon the stage,And then is heard no more: [Theirs] is a tale [now] told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
No one owe's Lieberman crap.
He shouldn't expect party loyalty, nor should anyone else from any party. You stick your neck out and it might get cut off. It's the name of the game. If your constituants don't think you hug enough trees or too much of or not enough of a warhawk then they may cut you off. It's politics, it's business, it's the way of the world.
No Anon, certainly no one owes Lieberman nor any other politician 'crap' as it were. His voting record represents a near perfect adherence to liberal policy in every respect... except the with regard to the struggle against modern fascism in its real form. But, of course, the Left's understanding of fascism fails to extend beyond the current American administration and of course the Jews, neither of which have yet to saw anyone's head of for effect. Nevertheless, perception in politics is as good as reality, when manipulated to its most useful ends. And when men like Lieberman, Hitchens, or Hanson defy their traditional political affiliations to stand firm with regard to a fundamental concept, it stands to reason that they might well be persecuted for it, by those who value politics over principle.
But, what does that say about the legitimacy of the movement, its dedication to discourse and tolerance, and ultimately its values? Its politics. Its business. Its the way of the world.
Your world. Not ours. The consequences are like chickens, come home to roost.
Wow,
Anonymous is a scary guy. Tough talk about tough politics.
But, who cares about a Fourth Turning War... It is all a lie... I hate Big Oil or whatever...
Another blathering comment "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
Mr. Atos, I have never directly keyed on the 'idiot' who tells the tale that matters not.
"It's politics, it's business, it's the way of the world."
Who cares, Anonymous.
Who cares...
Mr. Atos,
Linking to the home page of a daily blog with regards to blathering irrelevance in a time of import might be the best smack I have seen in months.
You can count on these guys, eh.
Nice find...
Nice job...
Too funny. I had to steal your quote (but I linked to you) for a post on the same topic - but with links to the full page of irrelevancy on 2006/08/10. The Net is Forever!
